Convention is free for ELP, VOICES and JCamp participants. Most scholarship recipients and award winners do not get complimentary registration. Check the scholarship description.

CANCELLATIONS

No refunds will be issued for AAJA convention registrations. By registering for the convention, the registrant acknowledges and agrees to this policy. AAJA shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, loss, damage, or expense incurred by the registrant as a result of this policy. The registrant assumes all risks and responsibilities associated with registering for the convention, and failure to understand or agree to this policy is the sole responsibility of the registrant.

AAJA23 will be at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C. The address is 1001 16th Street Northwest.

DCA (Reagan) and IAD (Dulles) are the closest airports. DCA is a 15-minute metro ride on the Blue Line. IAD is a 50-min metro ride on the Silver Line.

Getting around The Capital Hilton in Washington D.C. is easy! The hotel is just a short 6-minute walk from the Farragut North Metro Station (on the Red Line) or an 8-minute walk from the Farragut West Metro Station (serving the Orange, Silver, and Blue Lines). To pay for your ride, you can either purchase a SmarTrip card at a Metro station or simply use Apple/Google Pay on your mobile device.
If you’re coming from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, you can take the Blue Line for a quick 15-minute ride to the hotel. And if you’re flying into Dulles International Airport, you can take the Silver Line for a 50-minute trip to The Capital Hilton. -
S1, S2, S4 and S9 run north and south by the hotel, and K St Circulator runs east and west by the hotel. SmarTrip transit cards can be purchased at Metro stations or accessed through Apple/Google Pay on a mobile device.
